How PurePiggy product links work.
Recommendations should earn trust before they earn a commission. Here is the plain-language version of our link policy.
What is live today
The first release uses direct links to product makers and stores. When an approved affiliate tracking link is activated, the link will be marked “affiliate link” and will include the web attributes used for sponsored links.
How products are chosen
PurePiggy looks for useful floor space, species-appropriate nutrition, natural-looking materials, clear ingredients, washable designs, and enrichment that supports normal guinea pig behavior. A product can be removed if its formula, size, materials, availability, or safety record changes.
What an affiliate relationship cannot do
- Guarantee that every product is right for every guinea pig
- Replace veterinary advice or an individual health plan
- Turn a paid placement into an independent PurePiggy pick
- Hide a conflict of interest or sponsor relationship
Amazon language
PurePiggy is not presenting Amazon links as active Associate links in this release. If the site is accepted into Amazon Associates, the required identification statement will be turned on here and affiliate links will be labeled in the catalog.
A note for young creators
Affiliate accounts, tax details, contracts, and payouts should be managed by an eligible account owner. If the PurePiggy creator is under the required age for a program, a parent or guardian should review the terms and manage the account.
